Dr. King; By Lydia

January 15, 1929 was the day when Martin Luther King was born. When Martin grew up he was a minister just like his father. When Martin was getting older he met Corretta Scott. Then they got married on June 18, 1953. They had 4 children. August 28, 1968 Martin makes his famous I Have a Dream speech. When he made that famous speech things were different. The
white only signs were down. Whites and blacks could go in the same school. Martin Luther King turned the world upside down. But some whites didn’t like the speech he dreamed of. They wanted everything to be the same. On April 4, 1968 martin Luther King got shot. We will remember him because he taught us Faith, Peace and Love.
